Is was a beautiful day!! I am so glad to meet with so many great artists in town!
I try marker it next day. I never use marker before. it was kind of fun~~just hate the smell><

Those illustrations are for a CD book base on a Chinese poem by Wayne Lin. the subject is about Earth, Tree, Water and Animal. I try to translate some part of his poem so you can get the idea ^^

二　野獸　[動物的話]

你們來看我,看我倘佯山水間,很悠閒
但是你們緊緊張張`匆匆忙忙,
努力`奮鬥,拼命賺錢
然後有一天,你們功成名就了,成為熙熙攘攘的遊客
在山野`落日`晨曦之中
像我每天所作的一樣-----倘佯山水間,自在悠閒

You all see me living in the landscapes with leisure

You all live a tense and hurry lifestyle

You all go all out to make money

Then one day, you all get your fame and become bustling visitors

In the mountains, the sunset and the dawn

Like what I do everyday --- living in the landscapes with comfort and leisure

The sun evaporates me and I return to the sky

The sky and the human land

我出身卑微,在暗黑的土裡生長 只有一個願望,那就是,破土而出,接近陽光
我渴望長得高`看得遠,還要學會百年的沉默 根深柢固的本性約束我 永遠安份`靜默的,廝守著這一片唯一的天`這一塊唯一的地

I humbly grow from the soil

Wish to be close to the sun

I wish to grow tall and see far ahead

I learn a thousand years of silence

I am bound by deep-root nature

Forever hold my peace

And stay with this only sky and land
